Yadkin County Full-Time Paramedic (work only 2 twenty-four hour shifts per week with competitive pay)

Position: Full-Time Paramedic

Salary Range: $37,132 - $55,697. Salary is based on years of experience, education, and other qualifying certificate courses. Salary range does not reflect additional pay for built in overtime or holiday hours. For example, a Paramedic with no experience or additional credentials would expect to make over $40,000.00/year working two 24 hour shifts per week. A Paramedic with 5 years of full-time Paramedic experience and 1 college degree would expect to make over $45,000.00/year working two 24 hour shifts per week.

Work Schedule: We offer a modified 24/48 where you get 5 days off every 3-4 weeks. We also offer a ‘float schedule’ where you work every Tuesday/Friday or every Tuesday/Saturday. ---All full-time employees in our system are scheduled for two 24 hour shifts per week only---

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Paramedic Certification by the North Carolina Office of Emergency Medical Services
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • NIMS 100, 200, 700, 800 within 1 year of hire
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
  • Ability to meet the physical, communication, and other like requirements listed in the job description
