Randolph County EMS Full and Part-Time Opportunity

Randolph County EMS is currently accepting applications for Part Time EMT, AEMT and Paramedic positions. These part-time positions have a possibility for full-time in the near future as Randolph County EMS continues the transition to 12-hour shifts throughout 2020 and possibly into 2021. Randolph County EMS covers 804 sq. miles in Central North Carolina with 8 stations and 9 ALS ambulances. 2018 service demographics reveal a call volume of approximately 24,500 calls.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE (Paramedic): High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Successful completion of the NCOEMS Paramedic Examination or the ability to obtain Paramedic reciprocity in North Carolina.

MINIMUM EDUCATION EXPERIENCE (Advance EMT): High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Successful completion of the NCOEMS Advance EMT Examination

MINIMUM EDUCATION EXPERIENCE (EMT-B): High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Successful completion of the NCOEMS EMT-Basic Examination.

WORK SCHEDULE: Randolph County EMS Full Time Providers work 24 hours (07:00 – 07:00) on followed by 48 hour off or the newly begun 12-hour schedule with every other Friday, Saturday and Sunday off. Part-Time Providers will be required to work a minimum of 48 hours a month.

Applicants will be required to undergo drug testing, background checks, driver record screenings, and physical abilities testing in addition to the assessment center.
