Position Summary
Central Carolina EMS is currently seeking motivated professional individuals that are responsible, reliable, and have an excellent customer service orientation to provide Advanced Life Support Services to individuals that live and travel throughout Lee County, North Carolina.
Central Carolina EMS is located in the heart of Lee County, North Carolina, which is approximately 259 sq. miles, which is well centered in the state, just south of Raleigh. Central Carolina is operating 3 Advanced Life Support Ambulances (working a 24 hour/72 hour schedule) and 1 Peak Load Advanced Life Support Ambulance (working eight hour days/five days a week) that service the 62,000 residences that dwell and/or recreate within our borders. Being directly connected to Central Carolina Hospital, the EMS services provides: BLS, ALS, inter-facility, and scheduled transports, with 1 Wheel chair van during shifts as well that is staff by EMT level. Equipment on the trucks include: LifePak 15, Stryker Power Stretcher.

Minimum Qualifications
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or General Education Development Diploma (GED).
Licensing and Certifications
Possession of a valid North Carolina Driver's License; Certification by the State of North Carolina Office of EMS as a Paramedic. American Heart Association Basic Life Support; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) *Note* ACLS and PALS can be acquired in the first 60 days of employment.
Preferred Certifications
International Trauma Life Support (ITLS) or Pre-hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS), National Incident Command Management System Certifications (NIMS 100, 200, 700, 800); Hazmat certification.
