Full Time and Part Time Paramedic and AEMT Positions

Pasquotank-Camden EMS is currently seeking appications for prehospital care providers to join our progressive, fast-paced team.   Duties include providing pre-hopsital emergency care with associated skills at the basic and/or advanced life support levels.  

Pasquotank-Camden EMS operates out of one centralized headquarters located in Elizabeth City and four satellite stations located in the more rural areas of our service districts.  A system of high-quality pre-hospital care is proivded to a diverse population of around 50,000.

Applicants must have the following:

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • Current credentialing at the EMT level or highger
  • Valid driver license
  • Good phyical agility
  • Ability to pass local TSOP if necessary
  • Documentaion of training hours
  • Current course compleions in BLS, PHTLS, PALS and ACLS where appropriate

Salary ranges based on the 2022 fiscal year:

  • EMT:  $32,171 ($15.47/hr.)
  • AEMT:  $34,856 ($16.76/hr.)
  • Paramedic:  $38,889 (18.70/hr.)
