Faculty/Clinical Coordinator Position at Rockingham Community College

The Clinical Coordinator is a professional, credentialed educator responsible for the organization, administration, continuous review, planning, development, and general effectiveness for clinical experiences. The Clinical Coordinator is responsible for providing a quality learning experiences for Rockingham Community College [RCC] students. The Clinical Coordinator is expected to perform all related duties in a timely manner and in accordance with the mission, policies, and procedures of the College, the North Carolina Community College System, and in accordance with any and all accrediting bodies.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a Health/Medical related field from a regionally accredited institution.
  • Must hold a current Paramedic certification from NCOEMS or NREMT
  • Must hold a current BLS, ACLS, & PALS certification
  • Must hold a current Level I Paramedic Instructor certification from NCOEMS (or the ability to obtain within one year)
  • At least three years working at the Paramedic level and at least one year teaching experiencein a Health/Medical related field, either as an instructor or a clinical preceptor.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous clinical education experience
  • At least five years working at the Paramedic level
  • Hold current Level II Paramedic Instructor certification from NCOEMS
