Alamance County EMS Training Officer

Alamance County EMS is seeking a motivated individual to serve as the next Training Officer for the department.  Alamance County EMS is the sole paramedic level provider of emergency and non-emergency ambulance transportation in Alamance County.  Alamance County has approximately 170,000 residents and is located between Guilford and Orange Counties.  This affords Alamance County EMS to partner with the Moses Cone, UNC and Duke Healthcare Systems.  These partnerships allow the training officer to facilitate innovative pre-hospital trainings from a variety of field experts.

The training officer serves as part of a four person administrative team and is primarily responsible for employee development and training.  The administrative team consists of the EMS Director, Deputy Director, Training Officer and Quality Manager.  Alamance County EMS also has an active medical director that regularly interacts with all members of the administrative team.  The training officer works in conjunction with the medical director to ensure that protocols are up-to-date, evidence based and progressive.
