Wilderness Emergency Medical Technician

The WEMT program is a combination of NC EMT Basic (169 hrs) and Wilderness Medicine (48 hrs)  over a period of four weeks.  Students participate in class eight hours a day with clinical opportunities in evenings and on weekends.  Landmark Learning's staff of experienced Paramedic level providers teach this course mixing hands on practice with lecture and demonstrations.  At course end, students test for North Carolina EMT-Basic, National Registry EMT and WIlderness Medicine Institute WEMT.  All student materials, testing fees, clinical uniform, and clinical insurance are provided witin the course tuition.  Come train with the best - Since 1996, Landmark Learning boasts a 98% pass rate for student first attempts on the NC EMTB exam and 96% on the NREMT EMT exam.
