Special Event Medicine
How does your department plan for medical coverage at events? Do you just show up when someone requests an ambulance? Or do you have a plan of action to handle both the known and unknown?
Join us as we discuss best practices when providing medical event coverage or events as small as a few hundred to thousands of athletes and spectators, alike. Some events that you may be asked to provide coverage for are things like 5K runs, triathlons, concerts, football, soccer, the list goes on.
