EMS: Degreed to Succeed!

The EMS Program at Wake Tech is proud to continue to enroll paramedics in pursuit of their Associate degree. The EMS Bridge program at Wake Tech can be completed in as little as 2 semesters and is 100% online! The goal of this program is not to make paramedics repeat portions of paramedic school, but to provide advanced education by requiring courses in EMS management, EMS education, emerging clinical trends, and advanced clinical practice. Additionally, students will complete all of the general education requirements for college transfer, allowing them to pursue advanced degrees when or if they want to. 

Paramedics pursuing this degree can receive transfer credit for up to 46 credit hours just for their paramedic and instructor credentials. General education courses may provide additional opportunities for transfer credit.

  • 100% ONLINE AND ACCEPTS STUDENTS EVERY SEMESTER!
  • COMPLETE YOUR DEGREE IN AS FEW AS TWO SEMESTERS OR 19 CREDIT HOURS! (General education transfer credit is contingent on formal assessment of official transcripts.)
  • ALL EMS CLASSES ARE OFFERED EVERY SEMESTER TO PROVIDE OPTIMAL SCHEDULING FLEXIBILITY
  • CURRENTLY CREDENTIALED OR LICENSED PARAMEDICS WILL BE AWARDED 43 CREDIT HOURS TOWARDS THE 75-HOUR DEGREE.
  • NORTH CAROLINA LEVEL I OR II INSTRUCTORS, OR NATIONALLY CERTIFIED EMS EDUCATORS (NCEE) CAN BE AWARDED AN ADDITIONAL 3 CREDIT HOURS.
  • RENOWNED, AWARD-WINNING FACULTY AND AN EASY 5-STEP ENROLLMENT PROCESS

All of the faculty who teach in the EMS bridge program are former university educators. Students will be getting a university education at a community college price!
