Online Instructor Methodology Course

This course will follow the objectives and lessons and nomenclature as outlined in the National Guidelines for Educating EMS Instructors (August 2002) found online at: www.ems.gov to prevent potential confusion, the lessons will NOT be labeles based on Module numbers but their content title. Upon completion of the course, the learners will be prepared to pursue a Level I or Level II EMS Instructor Credential through the North Carolina Office of Emergency Medical Services (NCOEMS).

Prerequisites:

-High School Diploma or equivalency

-Currently certified in NC as an EMT, AEMT, or Paramedic

-3 years of equivalent experience at their scope of practice credential level

Required IN PERSON days for presentations are 2/4/21 and 3/4/21 at the Montgomery Community College campus in Troy, NC.
