EMT Initial (hybrid)

Piedmont Community College will be holding an Emergency Medical Technician Program.  This course follows the guidelines established by the NC Office of EMS. The curriculum for the EMT educational program shall be the 2009, or most current release of the United States Department of Transportation (US DOT) National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) National Education Standards. Upon successful completion of the program, the Emergency Medical Technician graduate will be able to sit for the North Carolina Emergency Services credentialing exam and National Registry EMT exam. 


Course dates:    August 15 – December 22, 2020

                            Tuesday and Thursday nights 6pm – 10pm

                            Every other Saturday 9am – 6pm

Course cost:      $180 unless fee exempt plus $32 in miscellaneous fees
