EMS 3163 Anatomy & Physiology ONLINE
If you are currently an EMT or AEMT and are thinking about becoming a Paramedic you will need to complete this course before you start your program. This A&P course is 100% ONLINE and does not require a textbook. The cost is $200, unless you are fee exempt.

Objectives: Upon completion, students should be able to demonstrate a basic understanding of the fundamental principles of anatomy and physiology and their interrelationships.
Description: This course meets or exceeds the standards set forth by the NC Office of EMS Anatomy and Physiology Course Objectives. This course provides a basic study of the structure and function of the human body. Topics include a basic study of the body systems as well as an introduction to homeostasis, cells, tissues, nutrition, acid-base balance, and electrolytes.
