Emergency Medical Responder-Dallas Campus-Gaston College


Tuesday and Thursday evenings, 6pm-10pm, three Saturdays 8:30 am -5:30 pm

Some members of public safety agencies may be eligible for fee wavers.

This 96-hour course for Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) follows national and NC State Educational Standards. This course includes all skills and course information necessary to provide emergency medical care at the responder level. This EMR certification can be utilized on a Basic Life Support ambulance, NC Fire Service or other specialty rescue agencies. Each student will be required to complete ONE (1) Ride-Along shift with a local EMS agency. After successful completion of the course, the student will be eligible to sit for both state and national written tests.
