The COA EMS Program is accepting applications for it's next Critical Care Transport Course in February, 2019 led by John vonRosenberg of Vidant EastCare. COA is recognized by the IBSC for its critical care and flight medic courses and the hours can be used for recertification for FP-C and/or CCP-C.

Community Paramedicine Course

Beaufort County Community College will launch its first official Community Paramedicine course on Feb 4th. A pilot course was ran during the fall semester of 2018 as we developed the course. This course will cover the Community Health Paramedicine topics from the book published by JB Learning as well as other topics related to community paramedicine.

FP-C/CCP-C Online Review

Beaufort County Community College in conjunction with Vidant Eastcare is hosting an online Critical Care Review Course. The course will prepare Paramedics for the FP-C and the CCP-C exams. FP-C and CCP-C are the only paramedic certifications recognized by Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport (CAMTS).
