Pasquotank-Camden EMS is currently seeking applications for one (1) EMS Field Operations Supervisor (Shift Captain).  Candidate will be assigned to a QRV and must be able to work independently in high stress situations.  Pre-employment background check, drug screening and driving record checks will be performed.  A resume´ and application are required for this position and must be submitted to the Pasquotank County Human Resources Department.  

Requirements of the position are:  1) High School Diploma or equivalent; 2) Valid pre-hospital credential by the North Carolina Office of EMS at the Paramedic level for a minimum of three (3) years; 3) Possession of a valid driver’s license; 4) ICS 100, 200, 700 and 800 with preferences to applicants holding additional ICS 300 and 400 completions; 5)  Current ACLS, PALS, PHTLS and BLS HCP; 5) Supervisory experience, supervisory or leadership courses or any combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the job will also be considered.

Salary and other information for EMS Shift Captain

-$40,260 – $56,964 based on experience (plus built-in overtime)

-24/72 schedule

-Other benefits also include health insurance, vacation and sick time.
