Part Time EMT, AEMT, and Paramedic

DUTIES: Performs difficult technical and protective service work in providing emergency medical services to critically ill and injured patients under emergency conditions; does related work as required.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Any combination of education & experience equivalent to graduation from high school. Depending upon position, education & experience must be supplemented by NIMS courses.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must possess a valid driver’s license & the appropriate North Carolina EMT certification. CPR, ICS 100,200,700 & 800. *Required for AEMT & Paramedic levels. ACLS, ITLS, PALS. **EVD & Hazardous Materials Level 1 preferred.

SALARY:

$13.46 per hour for EMT – Basic

$14.84 per hour for AEMT

$16.37 per hour for Paramedic
