Paramedics can expect a starting pay range of $16.99-$20.39 an hour depending upon experience.  Within six months of being released from field training orientation, new paramedics are eligible to upgrade to Relief Crew Chief and earn an additional 5%.  When a position is available, Relief Crew Chiefs are eligible to apply for a full-time Crew Chief position with an additional 10% pay increase ($19.53 to $23.44/hour).  Overall Paramedic Crew Chiefs can earn up to $31.92/hr.
