Description
Responsible for the planning, programming, instruction, and evaluation of the Emergency Medical Science (EMS) related program offerings within the Division of Continuing Education (CE) and Curriculum (CU). Participate in the overall program evaluation to maintain compliance with the Committee on Accreditation of Emergency Medical Science Programs (CoAEMSP). Assist with hiring, evaluation, performance management, and professional development of full-time and/or part-time faculty/staff; maintain current knowledge of program policies, procedures, and student progress; participate in budget planning, preparation, and execution; and fulfill responsibilities as a full-time faculty/staff employee. Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., occasional evenings and weekends may be required.
Minimum Qualifications
Must hold a Bachelor’s Degree and a current North Carolina paramedic credential with a minimum of two (2) years paramedic experience. Current Level II-EMS Instructor Certification, Advanced EMS education lead instructor experience, community college teaching experience and supervisory experience are preferred.
