Cary Area EMS Full Time Paramedic

Cary Area EMS is currently accepting applications for full-time Paramedics. We are looking for highly motivated candidates who have a desire to work in a progressive EMS system. Cary Area EMS is part of the Wake County EMS System.

 

A North Carolina Paramedic certification must be obtained prior to employment. The Candidates must obtain a NC driver's license within 90 days of employment. Any employment offers will be pending drug screening, background and fingerprint check, and passing the Wake County EMS System Physical Agility and System Entry process.

 

Minimum Requirements:

 

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Eligibility for a North Carolina Paramedic credential
  • Valid Driver’s License

Physical Requirements

 

1.         Ability to work in different environmental conditions, including extremes of temperature.

2.         Ability to carry 200 pounds with assistance.

3.         Ability to wear a full-face mask and any other equipment as required by the Homeland Security Act.
