Cary Area EMS Full Time EMT

Cary Area EMS is currently accepting applications for full-time EMTs. We are looking for highly motivated and aggressive candidate who has a desire to work in a progressive EMS system.

A North Carolina EMT certification must be obtained prior to employment. The Candidates must obtain a NC driver's license within 90 days of employment. Any employment offers will be pending drug screening, background check, and passing the Wake County EMS System Physical Agility Test.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED
• Eligibility for a North Carolina EMT credential
• Valid Driver’s License

Physical and other Requirements

1. Pass a Physical Agility Test          

2.Ability to work in different environmental conditions, including extremes of temperature.

3. Ability to carry 200 pounds with assistance.

4.Ability to wear a full-face mask and any other equipment as required by the Homeland Security Act.

5. Pass an EMT written test.

6. Pass a criminal and driving background examination.

7. Ability to Work in the United States
