Sampson Community College - EMS 4402 Crew Resource Management

EMS-4402 Field Crew Resource Management Course

Online-CE (20 hours or 2.0  CEU)

June 1 – June 25, 2020

Searching for an online Crew Resource Management Course?  Sampson Community College has developed a blend of challenging curriculum, experienced instruction and skills training, all taught in a supportive learning environment.

This course is intended for fire and EMS departments to achieve objectives like minimizing the loss of life and property, but few departments that fail to emphasize crew resource management (CRM) principles on an ongoing basis succeed in getting the most out of its various teams to best achieve these goals.  Crew Resource Management:  Principles and Practice will teach fire departments and EMS agency leaders the critical CRM skills needed to get the most out of every individual department member, and to create an entire organization dedicated to the philosophy that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.

This course will help various departments to eliminate communication barriers within various teams, improve the lines of communication between fire/EMS and their superiors, maximize synergies between teams though cross training while also improving individual performance, and teach situational awareness and decision making skills to help department members success in even the most challenging conditions.
