Rural EMS Challenges, Montgomery Community College

Rural EMS challenges: This will be a 32-hour course designed to help EMS professionals working in rural settings better understand the root causes of health care challenges with their patients.  Topics will include poverty, health literacy, uncontrolled chronic diseases in rural settings, and more. The class will begin January 20th and end on February 14th.  It will be completely online. There will be a recommended book, but not required. 

Course fee is $180, unless agency affiliated and then students are fee-exempt.
