GTCC EMS Bridging Course

Beginning this fall semester, GTCC is offering the majority of its EMS Bridging Program courses in an online format. Certified North Carolina Paramedics can now achieve their Associate’s Degree in Emergency Medical Science by completing 36 hours of coursework. Apply now at to complete steps required for admission. August 4 is the last day to register for fall semester classes and the semester begins August 14.

The prerequisites for admission to the EMS Bridging program include the following certifications:
• EMT Paramedic Certification;
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification*;
• Basic Trauma Life Support Certification*;
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support*;
