Searching for an online/hybrid EMR Course?  Sampson Community College has developed a blend of challenging curriculum, experienced instruction and skills training, all taught in a supportive learning environment.

Sampson Community College EMS Program offers a highly interactive, web-based, hybrid EMR Program that utilizes classroom and online course material to deliver a premium educational experience. Clinical partners to include Sampson County Emergency Services, Sampson Community Hospital, and Harnett Health Facilities Betsy Johnson and Central Harnett campuses.  We strive in educational excellence and provide multiple opportunities for a multifaceted clinical experience. 

Students will be required to attend class, on main campus once a week for skills/labs.  Didactic components will be on MOODLE and will adhere to strict oversight.

Sampson Community College EMS Programs now utilize FISDAP for all clinical skills/labs tracking. 

Prerequisites, Requirement and Registration 2019

  1. Submit proof of high school diploma or high school equivalency.
  2. Successful completion of TABE placement test with a score of 12 or higher.
  3. If you have a college transcript with previous coursework and/or degree please submit a copy to Sampson Community College EMS Education by email:  amagill@sampsoncc.edu.

  • You must bring the following items for registration:
    • Provide authorization to bill from employer or agency for invoice if paid by them.
    • If the student is affiliated, tuition is exempt. 
    • Tuition is $180.00 + $12.60(fees) = $192.60

Monday, August 22, 2019 will be the EMR Program Orientation on campus in the East Building, Room 131 from 1800-2200.  The orientation will include the program structure, schedule and compliance instructions.
