Davidson County Community College Hybrid Paramedic Course

The Paramedic Certificate Course provides individuals with the knowledge, skills and attributes to

provide advanced emergency medical care as a paramedic for critical and emergent patients who

access the emergency medical system, and prepares graduates to enter the workforce.

Total Program Cost: $1625-$1800

Student/Course prerequisites:

A) Successful completion of an EMT educational program.

B) High school diploma or high school equivalent;

C) Reading comprehension and English language skills on the post-secondary level.

D) Compliance with the mathematical skills on the post-secondary level

E) Anatomy and Physiology (Minimum EMS-3000).
