Community Health Paramedicine-Updated Course

Beaufort County Community College is offering the Community Health Paramedicine Course starting January 25th. This is a hybrid course with 99 hours of online content and 2 mandatory Saturday classes for a total of 115 hours. The class will cover all aspects of Community Health Paramedicine and our Saturday classes will have guest speakers that will include a medical director, heart failure clinic staff, wound clinic staff, and more! The course also covers some of the most utilized skills used in Community Paramedicine during the Saturday classes. The course is taught by a current Community Paramedic/Nurse that is IBSC Certified and covers material to gain in depth knowledge needed to pass the certification exam. This course has limited seats due to COVID requirements for the Saturday classes so if your interested please contact Billy Respass, Director of EMS Programs at BCCC. This is course is for paramedic only as the material has been revamped and certified personnel below a medic will not be able to understand the concepts and material. At the end of the course you will receive a certificate of completion that will allow you to sit for the IBSC certification exam.

We have scholarships available that will cover the course cost, book, and assist with travel and or the national certification exam! Please inquire if you are interested in the course as the complete course could be free!
