COA - Critical Care Transport Course

The COA EMS Program is accepting applications for it's next Critical Care Transport Course in February, 2019 led by John vonRosenberg of Vidant EastCare. COA is recognized by the IBSC for its critical care and flight medic courses and the hours can be used for recertification for FP-C and/or CCP-C.

The course will be from February 1st - April 5th. It consists of 80 hours of classroom/labs, 150 hours of online material, and 48 hours of hospital clinical in a critical care environment. Class meetings will be on Fridays from 8a - 5p on the Elizabeth City campus (Room C-108).

An application packet link is below with more specific details and costs. All completed applications must be received by January 18th in order to be considered. Class size is limited to 25 and students are accepted based on application completion receipt. Once accepted, you will receive a registration link in a separate email. 


Also, there is a "finish later" option and an attachment icon in the application packet where you can save your progress and/or upload your attachments to your application.
