EMS-4303 AEMT to Paramedic Bridge – HYBRID

Searching for a hybrid AEMT to Paramedic Course?  Sampson Community College had developed a blend of challenging curriculum, experienced instruction and skills training, all taught in a supportive learning environment. 

Sampson Community College EMS Program offers a highly interactive, web-based, hybrid AEMT to Paramedic Bridge Program that utilizes classroom and online course material to deliver a premium educational experience.  We are pleased to announce new clinical partners to include Sampson County Emergency Services, Sampson Community Hospital, Sampson County Health Department, and Harnett Health.  We strive in educational excellence and provide multiple opportunities for a multifaceted clinical experience.   

Students will be required to attend class, on main campus on a flip/flop schedule twice a week for skills/labs.  Didactic components will be on MOODLE and will adhere to strict oversight. 

Sampson Community College EMS Programs now utilize FISDAP for all clinical skills/labs tracking.   

Prerequisites, Requirement and Registration 2020 

  1. Submit proof of high school diploma or high school equivalency. 

  1. Successful completion of TABE placement test with a score of 12 or higher (reading & math) 

  1. Must call Adrianne Howard to schedule an appointment for the TABE Test. 910-900-4007. 

  1. If you have a college transcript with previous coursework and/or degree please submit a copy to Sampson Community College EMS Education by email:  amagill@sampsoncc.edu

  1. Current NC EMT or NREMT Certification

  • You must bring the following items for registration: 

  • Total tuition for this course is $180.00 (this will be fee exempt if affiliated )

  • Lab Fee    12.00                 directly to the vendor.

Total to bring $227.85(if fee exempt) $407.85 (if NO exemption) payable to SCC.
